I'd have to say John and Maria from London osteopath's who work both from Clapham Common and Balham

John Carr D.O. & Maria Sonberg D.O.
Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy
http://www.thelondonosteopaths.com

I toot my 2 week old daughter to visit them after she developed a blocked tear duct. Anna loved the treatment and was so relaxed throughout. Maria didn't feel I would need a second visit (so they are not the type to try and fleece you for extra cash) and Anna's eyes were back to normal in a day or two.

Fantastic therapists

Tell them, Melissa sent you!

I can back up the recommendation for Philip Hartley, in Balham (

I definitely wouldn't recommend the Vitality Centre cranial osteopath if it is the same one they had three years ago. Very judgemental that I gave one of my twins a bottle (I'd asked in advance for somewhere quiet to breastfeed when I got there but when I got there they couldn't provide it) and told me that my babies would really benefit from me spending an hour focussed on each individually - apparantly the reason they cried was because I wasn't doing this. I'm not sure what the other baby was supposed to be doing while I "gave my attention to my child as an individual" - perhaps doing yoga and sniffing crystals.

Was one of the least "ommmmm" experiences of my life.

I would also thoroughly recommend Adam Beaumont.

Adam specialises in cranial osteopathy, and has a gentle, caring approach when dealing with children, and adults alike.

He is based locally at Neal's Yard on Northcote Road, and Thurleigh Road doctor's surgery.

Definitely worth contacting (his number is 07966 177320).

I used TBops on Webbs Road - sadly they didn't offer a magic solution for a permanently crying baby but they were kind and professional and took it in their stride when my baby cried throughout all 3 appointments!

He practices just of Cavendish Road in Balham, so not quite W/worth Common but I took my son to Philip Hartley. He worked wonders with very grumpy, colicky baby.

Hi

I've heard good things about the cranial osteopath at Back to Back Osteopaths on Garratt Lane Earlsfield and at the Vitality Centre.

Has anyone got a recommendation for one near Wandsworth Common? I have heard they are good - esp if the baby is a howler!
