Olliegirl and So Confused - I think what got a few peoples backs up was the initial request for a volunteer which when you click on the link the expectation is that you are offering your services for free not a fee.
Also, the first pitch then asks for £250 and didn't really explain what you got for it that would make anyone spend £250 for a party hence my post asking for more details.
Only after probing does the information about the type of party, length, entertainment etc come out and in the meantime the way Hooray Entertainment has handled his/her communications on this may have alienated potential future clientelle.
However, as you both see benefit in the service being provided hopefully his/her business will thrive and someone will take up the offer of a weekday party.
