I say book an expensive restaurant and take one of your friends (and make the husband pay)!

More than reasonable to feel sad about it. Making time to go out would give you the opportunity to really talk about how you were feeling and why he things it is less of a big deal. You certainly don't want it to be playing on your mind.

Like mummy_dani, unfortunately I'm used to it... however I'm hope constant reminders in the early years will mean it's ingrained further down the line.

Happy belated anniversary and I hope you find some time with one another.

Totally unacceptable behaviour .... Which I'm used to!!

I usually get a card but that's only because I remind my husband daily for the 2 weeks leading up to birthdays/anniversaries/mothers day etc.

I say just book your favourite restaurant, the more expensive the better(!!) and get hubby to pay. If he didn't want to pay so much he should have booked somewhere himself!

Happy anniversary!

Forgot Anniversary!

My other half forgot our anniversary.

It's not a massive one but I am really really hurt.

He thinks it's fun (git) but I am really upset.

Am I unreasonable?

I don't expect huge gifts but a card and a dinner reservation doesn't seem too needy.

:P
