Hi - my son, who is 1 and a half, is at Elm Park part of the week and seems to enjoy himself a lot. He always looks happy when I go to collect him. The staff are very kind and you feel that they care about the little ones. They have agood social programmes too that involves parents. They do have the summer holiday, plus a week off at Xmas and Easter, so this means you do have to plan holidays or time off around these dates. The garden is great and they spend a lot of time outside, weather permitting. Have a look around if you can....

My sons (8 and 5 now) went to Elm Park on Clarence Avenue and I cannot praise the place enough - it was wonderful and they nurture the parents too! All those 'firsts' are nerve-wracking and they guide you through. We used their services continuously from 2001 to Jan 2009!
The only hiccup is the closure in the summer for 2 weeks but once the kids start school you have to plan around that anyway - it just forces you to take your holiday from work in August unless you get a holiday nanny.
good luck

My son is 18 months old and has been at Grove Hall since he was 11 months old. He goes 4 days a week, full days. He settled in really well and we have been very happy. The environment is lovely and bright and clean. The kids are outdoors as much as possible, both along the side of the nursery and even going to the park or library once older and walking. The staff are lovely and really seem to care about the little ones... We have had a very good experience and our son seems so so happy there which is the most important thing.
Have you had a look around there?
I think choosing a nursery is such a personal thing, sometimes you just have a gut feeling when you see a place.. But I would definitely recommend it!

My daughter is at grovehall 4 days a week and seems very content there. It is managed extremely well and the staff are extremely caring and very sweet with the babes... no complaints from me.

Grove Hall or Elm Park nursery?

I'm wondering if any nappy valley mums have feedback on Elm Park or Grove Hall nurseries in SW12? I'm currently looking for a place for my 9 month old and like these two options, but I don't know that many people with recent experience. Any feedback much appreciated!
