Paying - you need to be looking / paying deposits now - you will be too late for some places

Praying - I think you usually need 2 years of praying before hand

State - look in Sept, apply by Dec/Jan for the next Sept so plenty of time

Hi, not sure about state schools but we are at a paying school in Kew. Put my sons name down at 8 months and we didn't get in first time round. Apparently it should have been from birth! We did get places at other private schools when he was 3 - good luck!

Hi, just wanted to ask at what point do parents actually have to start thinking about schools for their little ones? It feels like we have only really just settled into nursery as our little girl is just under two - however schools have started being raised in recent conversations with friends. when do we need to seriously start talking/visiting/ taking action? Btw we are not sure if we will go down the pay or pray option so any advice would be useful as not been through this before. thanks
