It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our nanny, Lory, who has been in sole charge of our two toddlers as part of a nannyshare arrangement for the past year. In that time, Lory has been utterly reliable and trustworthy but most importantly, she has developed a strong bond with both our children, who absolutely adore her. Lory is highly experienced, having worked extensively with children of all ages and abilities, and has the added benefit of a background in primary school education. She goes above and beyond to ensure the children are engaged and entertained with a wide variety of activities, arts and crafts, playdates, etc. She always makes sure the kids have a healthy, varied diet with meals which she cooks from scratch. Lory is highly organised, flexible, extremely competent and has boundless energy, having to juggle the competing demands of 2 very different toddlers (and their parents!) – most importantly she adores the children in her care and it has been a great relief to know that our babies are being nurtured and cared for so wonderfully while we were back at work.


Laura and I are now both expecting our second babies and so we are sadly saying goodbye to Lory in late January.
