The tailors called, er, Tailors on Lavender Hill are v good. I believe some well-known high-end boutiques send a lot of work their way. Peter Jones are also said to use their services. But more to the point, all I've given them was done impeccably!

Hi again

I would recommend Viola. Her prices are not super cheap but not overpriced and she has done a good job on many items of my clothing and will help with her expert opinion as well if required.

Thanks Viola!

Amelia.

Another really late reply!!

I have most of the clothes back and they're all good - I am collecting the other half next week. She is lovely to deal with but I'm still not sure what she will charge as I don't have the invoice yet!!

WIll keep you posted... sorry it's taking so long

Curious to know how you got on with Viola? Or if there were any other recommendations out there. I'm looking for a few things to be taken in/out to spruce up my work wardrobe post return from mat leave (body is not what is was post baby no. 2! :D).

Anyone know a similarly good service in the SW19 area. Dukan diet is working very successfully but I don't want to ditch some of my lovely clothes! :D

I can make a recommendation...... my wife.

Viola is a qualified & trained designer who specialises in bespoke evening and special occasion wear etc. She also undertakes alterations, all in the privacy of her studio, so no need to take off/try on clothes whilst standing in a drycleaners.

Based just off Battersea Rise (Between the Commons).

Have a look at http://www.violarntzen.co.uk/ for more info or call 07813 118 707 to make an appointment.
