Don't have experience of both, but used to be a primary school teacher so some thoughts:
My little boy does Little Kickers over Ruggerbeez because my husband did football 1st & then rugby when older (makes my Welsh bones shudder - rugby all the way!!!!) so he 'believes' our son should do the same...... I have friends whose chn do RBs & it sounds very similar to LK in terms of the format so I don't think there's much in it.
I have heard great things about playball, sadly we couldn't afford to do it (got twins & between football, ballet, gymboree, artful toddler, nursery etc etc all gets a bit ridiculous!) as they don't do a twins discount. But i know plenty of people whose chn do it & they all rave about it.
We did gymboree between the ages of 1-2.5 & mine loved it, also great to have an indoor activity too. My 2 still ask about it now a year on!
Whatever you decide, I htink we are lucky enough to have a wide range of brilliant activities in the local area.
