Which are the Best State Schools in SW17?

Hello,

My son will be starting school in Sept 2012 and as I understand it I need to put his name down in our preferred schools by this Sept?

Please can anyone recommend any schools relatively local to Tooting / Earlsfield SW17? It's such an important decision and personal recommendation would be really valuable.
