Nut allergies are so common now I would have thought all schools would be nut-free and have policies in place for allergy sufferers. Just phone the schools and ask!

I would have also thought that the vast majority of the schools would be nut free now.
Alderbrook is; but definitely visit all the schools you are considering and ask about their policies, what training staff receive on dealing with children with allergies, etc.

I'm really surprised. I thought that all schools these days would be nut free? 

Fircroft Primary in Tooting Bec just sent an email to parents today saying that they are going nut-free.

Hi All, I wonder if anyone know of any nut free primary schools in the Balham area? Or primary schools that deal with allergies well? My son will start reception next September and he has a severe but allergy so need to start looking. Any advice would be appreciated!
