Oh for goodness sake don’t be so ridiculous. How do you think vaccines can be given to children if they’re not tested first? This looks like the Janssen vaccine which will already have been tested heavily in adults. Most 12-17 year olds kids are the size of adults anyway.

I agree EH0101. Unbelievable that they want healthy teenagers to put themselves at risk with an experimental medicine that hasn’t been through human trials. I hope people do not put their children forward for this.

St. George’s Vaccine institute are inviting healthy adolescents aged 12 to 17 years old to participate in a COVID-19 vaccine study.

This study will provide information vital to the development of a new vaccine to protect against Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2)this virus causes a disease called COVID-19. This study will test the experimental vaccine to help scientists and doctors find out if it can help prevent disease caused by the virus. The main purpose of this study is to see if the study vaccine is safe (if it causes any side effects) and how people feel after the vaccine. You will be reimbursed for travel and meal expenses.
