AI can do this if you instruct it to.

Maybe the answer is to ask the pupils to quote sources and insist they list say 10 sources in an essay and quote the source /or in part and say why it is agreeable or disagreeable to the set contention / objective. This would be introducing pupils to a standard usually not used below A-Level standard, but then again it is not an impossible hurdle and of course half the point of an  essay is to show how good you are referencing back to what you learn't in class - in other words, here your handling will show your grasp of the detail and agility to research.

How sad is this? Where is that going to end... Very scary! I must admit I am glad that my children are already done with school!
