We actually took the direct train from CJ to Wembley Central.  They are about once every half hour.  Easy on the way there, about 20 minutes of queuing on the way back but pretty easy nevertheless.

With Harry at the stadium, Pet Shop Boys at the Arena and Depeche Mode at Twickenham driving was out for us.  Also SZA was at the O2 and Arctic Monkeys were at the Emirates making London pretty much the music capital of the World that night!

Oops, just realised my reply came too late. Hope you all had fun and didn’t have any problems on the way back.

The tube to Wembley is the best way to get there. People go at different times so the crowd is spread out.

BUT DON’T WAIT with the HUGE crowd to get on the tube on the way back. There is a rail station on the other side of the stadium with trains to Marylebone Station. Take that then change to the tube in Marylebone.

Our group who all live in the same neighbourhood divided into two groups - one group went with the huge crowd in the tube. Another group, including me, had a round of drinks in the pub nearby then took the rail to Marylebone. We got home one hour before the tube group.

Drive, train, tube?  Anyone been this week who has any ideas?  We're going Saturday.   Thanks very much.
