Hi everyone,
Our car was parked outside our house, which is on a bus route, and it was hit by a bus just before Christmas which exploded a tyre and really damaged our front wheels before it drove off into the night.
Wandsworth council give permit holders 2 weeks of free replacement car parking, but it’s going to take up to 6 weeks to mend our car (Christmas/NY backlog). While our car is at the garage we have paid to renew our car parking permit, and it is waiting on our fridge, but from today we have to pay £9.20 a day to park the courtesy car outside our house.
Does anyone have any advice? Or know someone who might know a way around this situation? Or have space off the road and might possibly discuss an arrangement with us for a week or three? It’s so annoying to be pay for parking twice over.
