Depends which market stall you mean. I have no real experience of the one outside Buonasera but Angie at the smaller, weekend only stall outside The Thai is lovely. She lives locally and is an absolute gem of a person - always happy & smiling and great with children.

I've had both experiences, and I have to admit the last time I bought some flowers there, which were in sympathy for somebody else - ie. I wanted to make sure I got something suitable - the woman was very patronising and spoke to me as though I hardly knew what a flower was. It's a shame as it's a lovely stall and particularly at this time of year they have beautiful flowers.

Hmm, the one time I've been there the woman who served me was lovely. She did a beautiful job wrapping my flowers and even gave my daughter a sweet little posy to take home.
Must have been a different woman surely!

I have to post something about them. Does anybody else find the women who work there to be the rudest people? (not bob who is lovely) i've just encountered the rudest woman who didn't seem to know anything about how much flowers were, what change to give or anything. She then wrapped the flowers i bought (which i said were a gift) in a crappy bit of a paper.

i just wish Bob would employ friendly people who give his stall the credit it deserves.

Anyway rant over.
