It's the same for parents - £20 per person. The money goes to pay the hall, buy food, hire entertainers and supplies. The bulk of the work is done by volunteers.
Any money raised after paying costs, will go into the KCWC Charity account and given to the KCWC Charities. Right now the KCWC supports The Haven, which provides free non-medical support & treatment for women undergoing or who have finished treatment for breast cancer and Independent Age, which provides support, friendship and advice for low income elderly people.
The party is really fun for little ones and my kids always loved it. Also, it's nice to know that money is being raised for children.
