Yes, we have been to the 4 seasons too. in fact, it is soooo accommodating to the children we went 2 years ago and returned last year. The staff go out of their way to make the children feel welcome with "presents" when you arrive at check-in to making the beds with mini-size duvets next to them for their beloved teddy when they do room service. There is a great kids club with a very varied programme so your older child will probably want to get stuck-in but it's also pretty relaxed in that you can come and go as you want. The main family suites are located around the kids pool where there is a restaurant where the children eat for free (not that the childrens menus are more than a couple of pounds in the other restaurants). One thing I would say is that if you want a sunbed around this pool (the gezira), you need to get up early to grab your spot - probably not a problem with your little one! That was one thing we noticed in October compared to the previous year, that people have started reserving sunbeds pretty early in the morning!! Another thing its good to do BEFORE you arrive is to email the hotel and book babysitting if you want it in the eveniings (you can always cancel it at 24 hours notice if you change your mind when you are there) but best to book in advance. Otherwise, no jabs required, bottled water readilly available in rooms and by the pools (we didn't drink the tap water) and just go and enjoy, I am slightly envious!!
