Yes you're right!

They stay in the PM outbox until the other person logs in and opens it.

It's usually best to send an email, that way it goes into their outbox...

Hope that helps

Thanks for using NVN!

Thank you all for your really helpful posts. I'll definitely get the besafe seat.

Hi, we have the isofix besafe combi which my 2year old fits in (she is size of 3/4 year old - v tall). She has plenty of leg room. We have squeezed it into a tiny Peugeot which is v uncomfortable for the front passenger. But safety wise rear facing is best till 3 & is compulsory in Europe & (apparently) US now. Which gave it a really good review & it has the highest safety rating for a car seat in scandanavia.
Peppermint/ John Lewis /baby shop in croydon all sell them. I kept my little girl in our 0 car seat till she hit the weight limit - she still hadn't at 17 months when number 2 arrived & I needed the seat.
Hope this helps.

Thanks very much 2009Kat. I'm already familiar with the rearfacing website you mentioned- they only list Bromley & Milton Keynes as stockists, I have heard that somewhere in Croydon sells them so I'll try to find out. Really useful to know that Peppermint also sells them. I'm not planning on putting my son in the next size up yet, just wanted to do some research first!
The evidence does seem fairly compelling when you look at crash results. And the BMJ has recently made a recommendation for children to be rear facing until 2 years old. I do wonder how their legs fit once they get bigger, but I guess it must work somehow!

Hi, yes we are. We have a BeSafe izi combi (not the isofix one). We got it from Peppermint on Northcote Rd who fitted it for us. Took them a while to get it into the shop for us but I couldn't get to the other nearest retailer which I think is in Croydon. I went non-isofix as slightly smaller and despite my worries about size there is as much room in front of it as there is in front of my toddler in his forward facing seat.
I can't remember why I chose the BeSafe but retailers other than Peppermint do stock other brands (eg Britax etc). Peppermint only stocks the BeSafe I think. There is a good website something like rearfacing.co.uk.

Good luck, I am really pleased with my little ones rear facing seat and he is perfectly happy in it.

By the way, you don't need to move out of the baby rear facing seat until they are too big, at 10 months most little ones tend to be ok in their baby seat until 1ish.

Anyone else using rear facing group 1 car seats?

Just wondering what experience people have of buying & using rear facing seats... I have a 10 month old who will soon have outgrown his 0+ seat and there seems to be a fair bit of evidence in favour of keeping children rear facing until aged 4.
I'd love to know any seat recommendations & where to buy locally (as far as I'm aware there are only 2 retailers that sell these seats: one based in Bromley & one in Milton Keynes). I have looked at 'Which?' reccommendations, but none of the rear facing group 1+ seats that they reviewed made their 'best buy' list.
Thanks in advance!
