Don’t miss the fabulous Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Hospice Christmas Fair: help us to raise £25,000 this year!
This year the Wandsworth Friends of Trinity Hospice hope to raise £25,000 at their annual Christmas Fair, which is being held on Wednesday 13 November in The Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre from 9.00am – 2.30pm. Knight Frank will again be sponsoring the event, which last year raised £23,853 for Trinity Hospice.
The fair is a Santa’s Grotto of great gift ideas, with over 50 stalls selling toys, books, beauty products, jewellery, women and menswear, pet and food stuffs, as well as the Nearly New Stall. You can take part in the Silent Auction and bid for some fabulous items, or buy a ticket for the Tree of Life, with prizes up to the value of £25. When you’ve shopped til you’ve dropped you can head to the café for coffee, teas, homemade sandwiches and cakes. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased on the door.
Many can’t wait until the Wednesday, so the Committee have laid on a special Preview Evening on Tuesday 12 November from 6.30 – 9.30pm, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and some delicious nibbles whilst searching for special gifts for family and friends.
Pre-book your tickets for the evening at the special price of £18 for 2, including a glass of wine, if booked by Friday 8 November. After this date tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased on the door. To apply for advance preview tickets please email
thxmasfair@gmail.com to request an application form or visit trinityhospicechristmasfair.org to download a form. Completed forms together with a cheque made out to THCF should be sent to Mrs Melissa Taylor, 41 Gorst Road, London SW11 6JB
Trinity is the local hospice for central and south-west London, and supports over 2,000 terminally ill patients and their families each year. Trinity receives under a third of its funding from the government, so must raise over £7 million annually to continue its vital work. This year is the 35th anniversary of the annual Christmas Fair, providing much needed funds for this wonderful local charity so it can help people in our community. So put the date in your diary now and come and support this great cause!
