I had another look last night too and saw that you can hire the Pavilion in Wimbledon Park for the day on a weekend too. We're looking into this at the moment as there's plenty of space in there for kids to run about, and means we can supply our own food and booze. You can get the details from Merton Council's website under 'halls for hire' if you are interested.

We were also thinking of the earl spencer. If not there is the county arms and the leather bottle which both have private rooms. Trying to find somewhere is more difficult than organising the christening though! !!

Hi

I'm in the same boat - looking for a post-christening venue in that area. The Church Hall is booked on the day we are getting our son christened, as I was kind of banking on that!

Did you find anything suitable already? Otherwise you can try the Earl of Spencer on Merton Road - they have a private room there. That's my only option at the moment, so interested to hear if you have found anything else!

Good luck

Hi

Does anyone know of anywhere to hold a party after my son's Christening - it is being held on Merton Road so anywhere in Southfields/ Wandsworth/ Earlsfield area.

Does anyone have anywhere they would recommend with room for about 60 people and a private room for hire? Any help welcomed!!

Thanks
