Again, I know Saturday is long passed but some places to try in the future which are local (fairly local):
http://www.albertstable.co.uk/
I know it's in Croydon but I love this place. it is also really easy to get to on public transport (5 mins from South Croydon and 10 mins from East/West Croydon) and the food is fab.
- Upstairs on Acre Lane is nice but very limited menu
- Brixton Village has loads of fab restaurants. I really like a Japanese place called Curry Ono.
To be honest, i don't like many of the restaurants around Northcote Road although the best I think is Soif on Battersea Rise (its sister restaurant near Charing Cross is very nice too
http://terroirswinebar.com/)
If you want something in central London which are nice but fairly casual ie you don't need to be dressed to the nines, I really like the following:
- 10 Greek Street
- Zuma
- Wild Honey
