Personally I wouldn't touch Smeg products - very much style over substance and terrible after sales/customer services.

Can only speak about Britannia as havent used the other brands but we inherited our range from previous owners when we moved in and around 8 years on so far so good. in fact the owners had thought it so great they wanted to take with them but didn't in the end. And if you love cooking as I do, 6 jobs and 2 ovens is amazing- how did I live without that before!
Only thing is each hob burner has quite a few parts so cleaning can be time consuming .

I am the same person who asked for fridge freezer recs a few days ago. Now I'm asking if anyone has recommendations on range cookers. Is the brand important? Rangemaster, Britannia, Belling, Smeg???
