On behalf of the Ickle Pickles charity I just wanted to say how delighted we are to have been chosen as the official charity partner for the Northcote Road Summer Fete.
We are busy planning the offerings for the Ickle Pickle Playzone so there will be plenty for children (and adults) to do including face painting & a craft area. Please do pop by and say hi!

Good morning all,

The Northcote Road Business Network is thrilled to announce the official charity partner for this year’s summer fete is Ickle Pickles. This charity raises awareness and much needed funds for life-saving apparatus needed in neonatal units up and down the UK.

The Ickle Pickle Partnership uses gifts and donations from generous people in these four main ways:

* Purchasing specialised equipment, such as incubators and ventilators, to help Neonatal units provide incredible levels of care to premature and sick babies.

* Assisting Neonatal units to improve their facilities, so parents, families and friends of babies in Neonatal care can experience a welcoming and homely environment.

* Providing a channel for families and friends of babies treated in Neonatal units to raise funds for NNU / NHS Trusts around the UK.

* Raising awareness amongst the British public about Neonatal care and the continuous requirement for blood and platelet donation.

Join the charity team outside Chatham Hall (opposite the Library) as they present the Ickle Pickles’ Playzone. Throw a sponge at a parent or sibling as they are detained in the traditional Medieval stocks and hop on the bouncy castle for a… bounce?! This is also the location of the big charity prize draw, in which everyone is a winner and the top prizes have been kindly donated by the local businesses around Northcote road.

Have a great week everyone,

Jonathan
