Try looking on the Tutorfair (
http://www.tutorfair.com) and The Tutor Pages (
http://www.thetutorpages.com) websites.
Depending on where you live (as tutors usually come to your home for lessons), you should find a good selection to choose from. If not, try widening your search by putting a central London postcode into the search function (it could be worth traveling to meet your chosen tutor at their home or another convenient location), or similarly your child's college's postcode.
