Hi Alice,

I'm a member of Match up Mums (http://www.matchupmums.com/) and they've just set up a group of us French/francophile mums in the southwest London area.

Megan who runs it is lovely and I'm sure she'd add you to our group if you ask.

Bon courage!

Hi new mums to area

Welcome and you will find plenty to do. Unfortunately I work full time and mine are older but to help as I've been in this situation I would join a couple of classes as you tend to meet people there and then end up chatting and arranging coffees etc.

The best one I did with young ones is a baby massage course led by Sandra. Northcote Baby Massage. Not only a great 6 weeks course that helps with colic, wind etc it's a lovely social group. And the babies can go from v young.

Also there are a lot of music groups - monkey music, tin pan Annie - lots of classes in different locations grouped my age.

Also the mum and baby fitness classes - buggy fit etc.

Best of luck, those early weeks can be lonely ones so hope you join up with people soon.

The French owned cafe on Webbs Road would be a good place to start. Bienvenue en Angleterre.

Mums in Clapham to take a coffee?

Hi all,

I am a 27 years old mummy of a 4 week old baby boy. I have just moved in Clapham (SW11), and lived previously in Paris. I would really like to meet mums in the neighborhood.

Thanks a lot

Alice
