Just to satisfy Luahn's curiosity "as to whether you would all feel as relaxed about it if it were an actual woman riding around with bits exposed", I for one would be not be relaxed at all. I would be cheering, wolf-whistling and taking pictures.

Perhaps more to the point, if our local legend were Grayson Perry, would we not be queuing up for selfies with him?

I've seen her round for years and she always draws attention which, like others have said, seems to be what she craves. My mum was pushing DS in buggy last summer, when a lorry came round a bit quick to the zebra crossing and didn't appear to be slowing down. She stepped in with a really gruff voice and started to tell off the driver, stuck up for local residents round here, and made sure my Mum got across the road safely with the buggy. I think she's a bit of a legend! (and just wants to be loved).

While he/she does not bother me, I'm curious as to whether you would all feel as relaxed about it if it were an actual woman riding around with bits exposed….

I do understand completely the 'nakedness' issue. But outside of putting one's bits in place, a little diversity wouldn't go amiss here.

Some of the outfits seem a little OTT but she seems completely harmless so I say live and let live! We don't have a huge amount of diversity in the N road area anymore so perhaps not such a bad thing..

I agree with the OP - the level of exposure is, sometimes (more often than not…), a little too much here!

I was saying to a friend recently that one of the things we miss about living in NVN is the eclectic sights (I mentioned him/ her as the example!) that my children would see but not think unusual. Whereas now, they would stare at anyone they perceived to be unusual. Interesting to have a variety of people around.

Can we not give out the address of this individual please?

He is doing no harm and breaking no law. If curious, children will learn that we have the freedom to dress as we like, and that's a great thing.

He has been around for YEARS and as said he is harmless. He does want to have the full change but to date this has not happened.
He is a familiar character in the St John's/Northcote Road area and does create a great deal of attention when he cycles/ walks around but maybe that is what he craves and enjoys.
I say live and let live............

I've only ever known him/her as 'tranny-on-a-bike'. According to legend she used to live in a van on Thurleigh Road but I've never seen her there.
She does wear some jaw-dropping outfits, but she's harmless

I was wondering what had happened to him - haven't seen him for ages, glad he's still here. He is quite a sight but whenever my children have seen him they are confused rather than appalled!

Live and let live. He's doing no harm. Unlike other horrid individuals in this world.

I think it's kind of funny. I've always presumed there are some mental health issues there but to each their own and all that..
