• Teach the children good social manners
• Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors
• Plan and lead educational activities, including reading with the children

Just to bump along on behalf of Iva, who is our nanny. I would verify everything she says and add that my son adores her. He is so happy go lucky and I would say that this is due to Iva's bubbly personality and firm boundaries. They are always busy doing activities at home, e.g. baking, art etc. or out and about getting fresh air and having play dates.

In the last 3 months she has also helped me care for my newborn twins and has had sole charge of them at times. She is excellent with small babies and has been wonderful help around the house as the washing, tidying etc. is piling up around me! She is so efficient and proactive around the house - things are done before I've even noticed!

We are moving out of London hence the nanny share is ending...I would love her to move with us but haven't been able to persuade her yet!

I would be happy to chat to anyone if you have any questions.
Olivia

Experienced nanny available from March 2015

by ivaiva » Thu Jan 22, 2015 8:45 am

Hi,

My name is Iva and I’m currently looking for a position as a nanny, either full or part time, from March 2015. Currently, I’m working as part of a nanny share for two families near to Battersea Park and have been with them for 2.5 and 1.5 years respectively. The role has come to an end as one family is having twins and the other family does not need me full time as their daughter attends nursery school every morning.

I’m based in Raynes Park but the areas of London I would prefer to work in are Battersea, Clapham, Wandsworth and Balham. I have 12 years experience as a nanny and have worked with new born babies through to the early years. I have a current certificate in paediatric first aid and I’m also Ofsted registered.

I have worked around Battersea for the last 2.5 years and know lots of the playgroups and activities in the area very well. I try to provide a variety of activities for the children in my care such as painting, crafts, visiting local groups and physical activities including going to the park. I cook meals for the children and I’m well practiced in potty training and supporting weaning. I want to work closely with parents so that the children have a consistent routine and are secure and happy in their environment.

I work very hard and I’m a fun loving person who really enjoys being a nanny and spending time with the children in my care. I am organised and always leave the house tidy. My current families are happy to provide written or telephone references. If you are interested please email me - ivka33@hotmail.co.uk.

Thank you,
Iva
