Hi Allgood,
If you haven't found a solution yet. You are not the only one to have done this, we used Streatham PC Services, John Kazantzis: 07962 058553, to retrieve information we'd lost, when we had a similar accident.

Learning from our mistake we used JMS Secure data to set up a retrieval process to make sure that everything we do is and has been backed up since, Marlon Johnson: 020 3397 9026 / 020 3397 3378, http://www.jms-securedata.co.uk/contact . Happy Easter and wishing you the best of luck x

ctrl Z maybe, if you really mean a sheet, not the entire file? Only if you haven't closed it down, I assume...

I think you can do a system restore which basically restores your computer to exactly what it was, say, 24 hours ago.

Best to google that to get the exact way to do it for your computer!?

Help!! - Accidentally deleted Excel sheet

by Allgood » Thu Apr 02, 2015 7:07 am

Hi All,

Wondering if their are any Excel wizzes out there who can help me?

I've managed to accidentally delete a vitally vitally important sheet from an Excel document and need it back desparately! I deleted it and then saved the document, and do not have a copy of that sheet or the document. Have I truly lost it out in the ether forever or is there some sneaky way I can get it back? I've gone through all the random folders to see if my computer saved a back up copy somewhere, etc, but haven't found anything.

Yes, lesson learnt for future! But meanwhile in the present ....

Thank you very much for any help!
