The Cotswold Country Park and Beach is good for very little ones - there is a beach area where they can dig, shallow water to paddle I, and a playground area. The Gateway centre also has a gentle walk around a lake and a nice kiddie friendly café. Butts Farm (at South Cerney) is pretty close by and is a sweet little working farm you can visit. Then there's the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Cotswold Farm Park. Cirencester also has a good leisure centre and indoor and outdoor swimming pool. It's a great area for kids.

We stay in the four pillars hotel there but haven't used the lakes yet as it's a bit tricky with the really small kids. there are good small/rare breeds farms round there- think it's called Rare Breeds farm, Cotswolds zoo is brilliant, Cricklade is a lovely town to potter round, and if you're really desperate there is a pottery studio in Cirencester

Any experiences of Costwold Water Park - we are thinking of going this weekend with our 2.5 year old.

Does any one know which lakes are the best for a toddler?
