Children come from nurtured families which combined with small classes and focus on academics lead to a good level (Main advantage).
A lot of pressure on teachers and high turnover
A worrying number of children are stressed
leadership is rigid and all efforts are on academics
Teachers lack training and experience with young children and seem overwhelmed. Some complain continuously.
There seem to be a problem with boys in this school (blaming, shaming, excluding, threatening...)
Tiny external space and very small classes
High increasing fees for parents
Not part of The EYFS. Parents are not entitled to the 15h free hours (approx 3000£ / year). The school doesn’t need to follow the british early years framework
Some classes with problems of discipline lead to unhappy children, parents and teachers
families are dominantly french
The budget seems to be tight. Teachers are asked to clean the classes.
