I've also used Tim Sweetland from WSM solicitors for conveyancing and he was absolutely brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Based in Wimbledon so fairly local too. Good luck with your purchase!

Yasmin Uddin at Spencer Skuse & Potter. 07795 379782

She was amazing, so efficient and a much better experience than we have had in the past. With her help we completed our sale and purchase in under 7 weeks (or thereabouts). She even managed to pull exchange forward by a day so that we avoided the stamp duty change at the end of 2014. Highly recommend.

Another one to try is Ben Wise at Streathers - Clapham High Street. I can only vouch for Ben as I haven't worked with any of his colleagues.

We have just exchanged using Rebecca Thomson at The Partnership.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Julian Watson

Used him several times and he's good. Not based in London but that doesn't matter (and makes him cheaper) as it's all done over email/phone these days

Recommendations for conveyencing solicitors?

We have just had our offer accepted on a property and the EA have asked us to instruct a solicitor in the next two days (that might include today I'm not sure as we only spoke at 5pm!). I have been searching online like mad but there are so many options and I would love a recommendation from someone who has recently bought a property and used a solicitor! TIA
