Why not get a Surveyors report then sue online at money claim online the Northampton bulk centre, costs a few £100 but worth it.

Ouch, sounds horrible, feel sorry for you. Nothing worse than property damage, that you have to fix and isn't your fault. We have used these guys before and always good and professional. http://www.chelseaglass247.co.uk/

The structural damage relates to the columns/pillars to the side of the windows and not the foundations. They were moved away from the rest of the structure of the wall leaving a crack and the columns are now displaced. The pins are to stop further movement.

Our house was structurally damaged when The London Sash Window Company removed our old windows

We have had front windows replaced on the first floor of our house by The London Sash Window Company. We would not use them again or recommend them. When the old windows were removed the front of the house was structurally damaged leaving a crack with movement of a whole section. This company then left us to sort it out ourselves with no support, this was stressful and time consuming. Our surveyor was horrified but The London Sash Window Company denied any liabilty and suggested that it was the house that was the problem - our surveyor did not agree. We were offered a payment towards the repair as a 'goodwill gesture' as the house has now needed pins to prevent further movement. We don't see how the removal of the old windows could have been competently undertaken and our house has been damaged. Not the experience that we were hoping for or expecting and the conduct of The London Sash Windows has been extremely poor .
