Mummywalker this is what we wanted to do. two years at Broomwood and then we'll see. maybe somebody left at the end of year 6... i want to remain positive, realistic, but positive!

In my humble opinion it's a great school :-) I'd say it's worth getting in touch with the admissions team to find out the situation re availability / waiting lists given the age of your child(ren) as you never know, you might be lucky! You mentioned in your other post that you have a child due to start secondary school in September, I assume into Year 7/age 11? Broomwood goes up to age 13 so if you could get a place there then it would sort you out for your first two years in the U.K. while you look at options for Year 9 onwards. Best of luck with your move.

I'm afraid you are going to have the same problem that you've been warned about in your other thread about state schools...

Places have already been allocated, and pretty much every school in this area, state and private, is oversubscribed with a waiting list, and won't be offering places for this September to someone who applies now

Your best (and probably only) option is to get whatever places you can find and spend the next year hoping places will come up at your first and second choice schools. You won't have the luxury of being picky, sadly!
