Hi there,

I'm an insurance broker at Insurance Tailors and we can certainly help you find comprehensive home insurance with a reputable provider. If you would like us to obtain competitive quotes for you to review, please do get in touch. My email is jrobinson@insurancetailors.co.uk

However, here's a few tips to consider when choosing an insurer and policy;-
- ''All Risks' cover is far better than 'Named Perils' cover
(http://www.propertyinsurancecoveragelaw ... situation/)
- You want to avoid policies with warranties (i.e door and windows must be
locked for claims to be paid)
- Always check the policy exclusions and any endorsements applied to your policy
- Declared values are better than generic binder limits i.e cover up to £500k/or unlimited building cover - the latter gives the insurer control in the event of a claim and the former gives the insured control
- Brokers have access to insurers and products not available direct
- Brokers will be able to help you find a policy that meets your needs, they will manage your policy throughout the terms and importantly help you in a claims situation

Hope this helps!

All best,
Josh

Can anyone recommend a good building insurance provider?

Or are there any outfits you would avoid??

Thanks!
