We are a lovely family in Clapham South who are looking for an au pair to start in December/January. We are a busy family of 5 – me and my husband, a daughter aged 9 and then two sons aged 8 & 4 plus the dog! Looking for someone kind, loving, responsible and organized. You will need to be comfortable having sole or shared care of the kids – depending on when mum am working. Your role will include the following:

– Assisting in getting the kids ready for school

– Some days school run (shared with my husband and me)

– Some days school/clubs pick up (shared with me)

– Preparing kids food

– Kids bathtime and bedtime (up to 2 nights a week) – I try where possible to get home for this

– Laundry

– Kids ironing (limited to uniform and sheets)

– Cleaning of kids room – we have a cleaner who comes 2x a week (6 hours in total) for the other areas of the house

– Most importantly loving the kids!

You need to be able to drive (locally) – but am very happy to organize for a lesson to improve your confidence. Ideally you will need to be able to commit to staying with us for a year. There will though be plenty of opportunity to travel back home during the holidays. We have a Country home which you would be required to travel too in the holidays however you would not be needed to stay over the weekend. Accommodation is: Double bedroom with en suite shower room on own floor (top) of the house. Hours: Mon – Fri 7.15am- 9am Mon – Thursday 3pm – 7pm Up to 35 hours. Looking for someone who Drives, is aged 22-30 and has conversational English. Also better to meet in person.
