I second Winkie Spiers, she is superb and does one to one sessions as well as puppy classes. My three year old pup is a joy thanks to her training (of me as well as him!!! ;) )
I also recommend Voo Vets that you mention as on the corner of Queenstown Road, they are very good and are one of five practices with their own shared animal hospital, which is in Morden I think. (Luckily not needed it to date and hope we don't but after horrendous experiences of the one in Streatham with another pet, animal hospital arrangements were important to me)

Congratulations! All Creatures vets on Lavender Hill is absolutely brilliant. Would highly recommend, The vets Nicola and Anders have been there for years.
We used Winkie Spiers to train our spaniel and she was brilliant, I think she still does her classes at All Creatures.

Saturday Puppy Classes / nice vet

Hi all

Question 1: We are on the list to get a puppy (Border Terrier) at the end of Feb and I would like to find out about local puppy training classes, so that the new family addition can make some new friends and also learn how to sit / stay / not chase squirrels etc.

Someone mentioned to me a really good class in Balham (?) - but really I'm open to anything as long as it's close and local and good.

Question 2 - any recommendations for a nice vet - I'm in Clapham Old Town, so again somewhere local e.g. the one just on the corner of Queenstown road etc?

Many thanks,

Mellymell
