As per the subject: is there any way to properly dispose of / recycle paint tins in beautiful Wandsworth?
The recycle centre on Smugglers Way won't accept them:
http://www.wrwa.gov.uk/recycle/reuse-an ... eningtimes
I found this website which is supposed to have information on how to recycle paint:
https://communityrepaint.org.uk/
but in practice it's useless, because it lists the recycling centres of other councils (e.g. Southwark or Camden), which do accept paint (why on Earth do some centres accept it while some don't???), but are only accessible by local residents.
It seems the only realistic options are:
Throw the paint tins with the general, non-recycled household waste, or
Ask a friend in Southwark or Camden to take it to their recycling centre
Thoughts?
