Re: taxis with children's carseats?

I use Clapham Cabs with my two children and if youre travelling to the airport if they do the return journey they will keep your carseats for you, then meet you at the airport when you get back.

Re: Desperate for my baby to take a bottle

I agree with the above post - Nuk bottles are amazing. My daughter flatly refused every type of bottle, every type of method and I'd actually given up thinking the only thing was to let her 'grow' into using a bottle. One day I saw the Nuk bottle and thought it was worth trying (must have spent a sm...

Re: How to have a second-hand buggy cleaned professionally?

Try Buggy Pitstop. They will do a full valet and fix any parts that are broken and will even collect and deliver from your house if you need them to. I used them to overhaul my bugaboo and they did an excellent job. The only complaint I would have is that their customer service wasnt gret - they can...

Thank you for posting this to make people aware. How disgusting and infuriating that nothing has been done. What is wrong with people?!

Re: Pushchairs on flights

I have done long hauls with a bugaboo many times - never had a problem. I have always had my son in it right up until boarding and they take it off me and put it straight into cargo. It helps to fold it down for them though as non bugaboo users are easily floored by how to collapse it.

Re: Cabs with car seats for a small baby?

Its true that its not a legal requirement to have an under three in a seat - but a booster seat at least is a lot safer than just strapping a three year old using the regular seat belt. A selt belt designed for adults can do serious damage to a little person - or even be fatal. Its surprises me that...

Re: Cabs with car seats for a small baby?

Clapham cabs provide infant seats. Also if you want to use your own, they will take yours away (so you don't have to deal with it at your destination) and then if you do a return trip with them, they'll bring it back. Also they are polite, courteous, reliable - unlike Addison Lee who sometimes don't...

Re: Moving to Clapham South

There is also Asquith Nursery on Radbourne Road which my son attends and he loves it. They are an excellent nursery in every respect. There's a one oclock club on Poynders Road which is brilliant because it never gets as busy as the Clapham Common one and it has a lovely outdoor area right next to a...

Re: Just Williams Toys - OPENS in Balham

I have been in twice already and its great to have a local toy store with a great selection and reasonable prices. My three year old loves what I have bought. Also, friendly efficient service - what a refreshing change.

Good luck I'm sure you will do well - I'll be telling my mummy friends

Hi there We recently bought this pram and I'm really disappointed! Finding it really hard to steer and heavy - the front wheel turns sporadically and its difficult to manouver over curbs around corners etc. Has anyone else found this? Is there something I should or should not be doing? For an expens...
