Re: Sound proofing or second glazing for windows?

I’ve recently come across a product called Fineo glazing that is *supposed* to be great for houses on busy roads, but I’ve read it’s expensive and the hope is the price will come down over time

Re: PROBLEM WITH SLUGS IN KITCHEN

We had them a few years back and it was down to a slow leak from a pipe near our water tank. Find the source of the leak and they will magically disappear! Good luck

feeling ripped off between the commons

This is an old thread but I see there is mention of Catholic secondaries on it. Does anyone have any experience - good or bad - with sacred heart high school in Hammersmith? I’m specifically curious about how your kids coped with the commute in Y7… many thanks --- SPLIT FROM  https://nappyvalleynet....

Re: Rats on Tooting Common

That seems to me a bit of a stock reply and more focused on Wandsworth common. I was in Tooting common last week with a friend who has a dog and young children and who has spent much of her lockdown life in Wandsworth common, and she was shocked and revolted by the rats, in other words despite spend...

Re: Can you recommend your hairdresser?

Any idea where alex has gone? They say he set up a mobile hairdressing business or is working in Vauxhall. At any rate he’s no longer at Number Four, which is a real shame...

Re: Great swimming classes for children

We are away over the May half term so I wondered when the next ones are, over the summer months? Do they run throughout the summer? They sound amazing!

Re: House bin not Public bin

We have had the same issue - it's infuriating, especially when you see people you know do it. I will also be looking into a bin lock!

Re: Damp and Timberguard

Hi We used D&T two years ago right after buying our new house and they were very good, I would always go back to them in future as a result. The owner (I think) is Christian who seems knowledgable and talked me through quite a few questions as we wanted the work to be paid for by the sellers so ...
