Thank you all. Yes, our GP said that her symptoms are too mild to get an NHS referral but that I could look someone up & take her privately. She suggested a psychiatrist to evaluate and then send her to a psychotherapist. Seems long-winded to me...

We had a mouse recently and I called out Pest Protect (08000567231). They come and put down poison etc and on the second visit they fill any holes the mice come through. If you help them out and pull out washing machines etc so that can see all around they seal it and that should be the end of that....
