Re: 19 yr old Au Pair looking to meet people of similar age

I have a lovely Spanish aupair - aged 20 - who has been with us for a month - she would love to meet some local aupairs (we are near Wandsworth Common). She is very keen to be involved in the next aupair meet up and if anyone has a nice aupair who wants to meet someone...let me know and we can conne...

Re: Sunday Times top independent prep schools

Just wanted to give you some input on Thomas's Clapham. I have 2 kids there - a boy and girl of hugely different characters and abilities. I cannot say enough good things about the school! Both kids are so happy there and are thriving. The new headmaster has really invigorated the school and there i...

Re: hairdresser in Earlsfield?

We live in Earlsfield and use a brilliant mobile hairdresser who comes to our home - she cuts all our hair and colours mine - and we wouldn't be without her! It's v.convenient as we don't have to travel anywhere and she comes anytime that's convenient to you. She's also VERY good value  AND, sh...

Re: Ravensbury Road, Earlsfield

Hi, we've lived in Earlsfield for the past 6 years and we love it. It's v.safe and there are loads of families around. And it has everything you could need in terms of shops / transport / things for kids to do (Library / It's a Kid's Thing etc.). Earlsfield primary is also excellent. I really think ...

Re: Naughty toddler - can anyone help?

I just wanted to say how much I sympathise with you all and you musn't let other people's looks or disapproval get you down. Friends are not friends if they ostracise a 2 year old for a bit of pushing and shoving. It is normal...they are all learning boundaries. CheekieChappieMum....just hang on in ...

Re: What are my local private primary schools?

Mistletoe's summary made me laugh! Glad she said *roughly*! Having a chuckle  that my little boy might come across as a bit Damienish.... He goes to Thomas's... Have to say we love it there and it's not nearly as pushy as its reputation suggests...and, there are some amazing, down to earth mums...

Re: Wooden Playhouse

Hi, we had the same problem when we were looking, but were recommended www.tigersheds.com. We have an 8x6 TigerCub Funhouse and it is BRILLIANT! It's been up for over a year and is very robust. The kids love it...and it didn't cost us 2k!

Re: Hairdresser for highlights recommendation please!

I can thoroughly recommend Caroline Lynch - she's an exceptionally well qualified mobile hairdresser. She's been doing my highlights for years and now all my friends use her too, as she's brilliant. She's also very affordable. Plus, she cuts kids hair as well. Her number is 07939 268037. She works a...
