Re: The Flavour Kitchen Catering Company - 10% discount

Just wanted to mention that, after reading this post, my friends and I booked the Sinead at the Flavour Kitchen for last night! Our reading group was having our annual Xmas dinner and we were keen to eat in someone's house as one of our group was due her first baby right around the time, but nobody ...

Re: Streatham Common... advice!

Agree that the High Road is not a very relaxing place...but otherwise am amazed by how undiscovered Streatham is. So much more choice of community schools than SW11 and really big houses and gardens given the connections into central London. It's an enormous area so I don't think there's really one ...

Re: Need good Chelsea&Westminster stories

Hi there, congrats on your pregnancy. Wanted to echo all the previous posters! Lots of my friends have used both those hospitals and had overwhelmingly positive experiences. Obviously a few people do have really bad ones and I wouldn't want to belittle those, but (although I am no expert) I would sa...

Re: Get your hair done in the comfort of your own home

Just to add to the ringing endorsements of Kelly - she came to do my hair today and it was a fab experience, speedy and good value. Will definitely get her back again and hopefully to do my daughter's hair too!

Re: Lovely Family Friendly Cottage for Rent in Dorset

Hello all - just to mention that I can thoroughly recommend this cottage having had a lovely holiday there over new year with my husband and two daughters (aged 2.5 years and 2 months). It's a beautiful spacious house that is newly done up very stylishly but also very comfortably. My toddler particu...

Any recommendations for someone to make bespoke furniture?!

We have an old dining table that is in good condition but the chairs that go with it are totally knackered...and we have struggled to replace them as the legs of the table mean the chairs need to be very narrow (40cm or so). After five years of looking I've kind of admitted to myself I might need to...

Bugaboo repairs - please help us get ours fixed!

Hi all, Would really appreciate any advice! We have a Bugaboo Bee that we bought in January 2010 before our little girl was born (and is now therefore out of warranty). We love it and would like to reuse it for the next baby due in October but it is badly the worse for wear. We are really hoping tha...
