Snap traps (+ brave hubby to remove dead mice) are very effective. Having blocked all holes, we discovered that ours were coming down the chimney ! My toddler daughter had a constantly runny nose. I switched to goats milk and it's stopped. If I run out of it and use cows milk it starts running again! She loves the goats milk anyway cos of the picture of the goat on the carton. So everyone's happy :)

Tots Too has lots of toddler friendly hotels, all very upmarket, some in the Med, some further afield. You can search their website to see only those with creches, which is very handy. See:

Turkey is still quite nice in October - warm without the long haul journey. You could try Lykia World, which is all-inclusive (no cooking to do on holiday!) and is very kid friendly, with creche, kids club, etc. Here's a link: http://www.totstoo.com/hotel_lykia-world
