What a nightmare. I hope earlsfieldgirl helped you. Just thought I would clarify that anyone can apply for planning permission for anywhere, whether they own it or not. So yes, even if you own the land they can still apply. But if the application is successful and you own the land they cannot build....

I can also back the first recommendation of Gary Bristow. There are cheap carpet cleaners and good value carpet cleaners. He's not the cheap kind but he's excellent with stains and will leave your carpets looking like new. Great to have in the house too - friendly and trustworthy.

I know this is a bit late but I had to add my total conversion to an induction. I have always been a gas fan but moving forced me to use an induction. Everything the previous posts have said is true. I love my induction and would never go back. Personally I can't see any negatives.

You should try Gary at Bristowclean on 07949 084693. He has been recommended on the Wandsworth NPV site time and again and I have used him for lots of things too. He is very good with reasonable pricing.
