Re: Help finding out-of-london School/Home?

Hi! After many happy years in Wandsworth we took the plunge and moved out to Wiltshire just over 3 years ago now. My husband works in town during the week, usually, and I have the joy of being down here - and love every moment! We are close Enough to get back to town (when allowed!) and there is cer...

Re: False Positive HIV

I can imagine that this has been very stressful for you... A few years ago (when my children were 4, 6 and 9 years old) my husband was diagnosed with Cancer by the team at St. George's. At the time he was being treated for a DVT and bi-lateral pulmonary embolism as well as being under the cardiac te...

Re: Closure of Francesca Alexander hair and beauty

This is indeed very sad news... And a great shame that the lovely Sophie, who has cut and coloured my hair brilliantly for almost 4 years, isn't making the move to Fifteen.... Thank you all for the wonderful service I have had from you over the years, good luck back at Fifteen, and I am hugely relie...

La Cuisiniere

I was so sad to see a big Closing Down sign in the windows of both of their wonderful shops this morning .. So much so that I had to dash across the road and go in to see if it really is true - and very sadly it is. I was told by one of the staff that they will probably close at some point in August...

Re: Have your say on community improvement cash

Maybe the Council could look at re-instating some of the One O'Clock Clubs so that they remain free to use, rather than being run by for profit organisations or un-manned? I amd sure that would be much appreciated by the wider community. I know of several new first time mothers who would greatly val...

Re: Live chat with Councillor Mrs. Kathy Tracey

Hi! Not sure if I am too late .. but wondering what news there on the One O'clock clubs and whether they will be opening in the afternoons - nothing seems to be happening at Windmill Road one and some of us were considering putting together a group of volunteers to try and have something affordable ...

Re: no places in any school what to do next!!! so worried!!!

HI! We have 2 children at Dolphin (year 4 and year 1) and couldn't be happier! We moved our eldest from a State school at the end of Year 2 and the progress he has made since then has been astounding (he is dyslexic and dyspraxic) Our youngest is currently at Noah's Ark (the nursery connected to Dol...

Re: WIN a free evening babysit from Like Minders

Without wanting to sound corny (!) We have been using Like Minders for a year or so now, and I have to honestly say that they are the BEST! My husband has been seriously ill over the summer holidays, we nearly lost him and I have been juggling three children, hospital visits, taking over the running...

Re: Interview with Wandsworth Council re. the One O Clock Cl

Thank you for meeting with Wandsworth Council and reporting back on that interview - it makes very interesting reading! However, I do think there is another aspect to this that needs serious consideration. The One O'Clock clubs offer a fantastic resource to children - but also to their parents ... a...

Re: Postal Diets?!

Having done WW and SW in the past and lost weight but put it back on again, I decided to look at Rosemary Conley and do it online ... so I signed up and then discovered that she has now launched Solo Slim - ready made meals which you order online and arrive quickly! They seem very reasonable to me -...
