get 14yr old to plan it??
we used to ski every year until 14yr old started complaining, so we got her to plan christmas and had a great trip to thailand. she wanted shopping and chilling and sunshine, and she got it, and the rest of us loved it!

i would discourage you from paying a lot for inclusive child care.. when we did it one child got ill so wasnt alowed in child care, the other one hated it so it was all a bit of a disaster. (even tho both had been very used to nursery and day care from v young age..) and staff were rubbish and inexp...

we have been to the french pyrenees with our kids many times, loads cheaper than the alps, and very family friendly. (remember with skiing its not just the travel and the bed that costs, but the kit and the lift passes and the groceries) the skiing might not be as good for the grown ups but it works...
