Accommodation for girls' weekend in Europe

Im trying to organise a much needed weekend away for 3-4, 40-somethings in Sept and am struggling to find accommodation to fit the bill.  Has anyone stayed anywhere they would recommend?  Ideal would be somewhere we could happily chill for a bit - pool or sun terrace -  near a beach and a nice town ...

Re: Birthday party ideas for 10yr old girl

Thank you so much for taking time to reply. Roller skating had actually been top of her list but I had failed to find anywhere relatively local. Was your party recent and can you give me any more details? The only place I can find when I search seems to have shut down. Many thanks!

Birthday party ideas for 10yr old girl

Am completely stuck as to what to do for my 10yr olds party. She wants to have 6-10 close friends (all girls) for some birthday extravaganza but has no ideas herself. Happy to do something at home or relatively local.
Anyone got any ideas that they have done themselves recently?

Re: Drinks party catering

Another vote for Ruth!
She catered for my 40th at home- drinks and canapés followed by a sit down 3 course dinner. She made it all so simple and stress free and all the food exceeded expectations.
I went for her after reading all the recommendations for her on here.

Re: Help- dad needing help for a party entertainer!

Mr Marvel is good- seen him perform several times. Games, jokes, magic -and a real rabbit at the end!!

Am sure Amanda would also do a good job. Prob more music/song/game based.

Can't vouch for the others....

Good luck!

Re: Uniforms

You'll prob find that they wear different uniform on different days depending on the timetable (whilst in lower school at least). My kids are not at Rutherford but they go in wearing games kit on days when sport is played, wear trainers on games days etc. It means you prob won't need as much uniform...
