Hi, I just read your post with interest, as I had a patient last year with a similar cycle of 'niggling' injuries, poor sleep and anxiety. (I'm a medical herbalist and nutritionist. I'm also a clinican of PNI, which is psychoneuroimmunology, looking at the biochemical links between the nervous syste...

Re: Trying for baby number two

One thing to think about with baby number two is the amount of fats you have in your diet. Fertility is often very related to maternal nutrition as you need enough nutrients for the baby to grow properly and baby number 1 can often deplete this. Make sure you're getting good quality fats in your die...

Re: Dermatologist for Treating Ezcema in Children

Have you considered Wibble wobble and nutrition? I'm a practitioner of both, with a practice in Thurloe Street, South Kensington. Baby eczema is very related to gut issues, changes in the gut flora, permeability of the gut lining. I see many children (and mothers' too!) with gut/skin issues and they...

Re: Retrograde bleeding and conception- please help

Hi, It's really difficult seeing your friends struggling with fertility issues - she's lucky she can confide in you though, as so many women don't feel able to share their experiences. Many women have retrograde menstruation (in fact some studies suggest up to 90% of women). However, in some people ...

Re: Parenting books recommendations wanted

Hi,

I really like - French Children Don't Throw Food. It's witty and an interesting read, not like your 'run of the mill' parenting books!! Just did a quick google and found this review...

Re: Gluten free/wheat free/dairy free? Help!

Hi! Have a look at the information about the Paleo diet. I hate using the word 'diet', because for me that has associations with weight loss etc. It's just a traditional way of eating that doesn't include dairy, grains or legumes. It's based on the way the human body evolved to eat and there is a to...

Re: Juicer Recos?

I use and recommend the Vitalmax juicer - it's not a blender too though. It's very easy to clean (although don't leave it for too long otherwise it all dries in and then it is a nightmare!) and it seems to have coped with everything that I've shoved in it!! Juicers aren't the cheapest but they seem ...

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good French teacher? I have GCSE French, which was a bit far back to remember anything more than a few words! Conversational French is my aim...!
