As a Home-Start Wandsworth volunteer, I would wholeheartedly recommend signing up for this - it's a fabulous charity to work for and such an enjoyable and rewarding thing to do. Parents supporting parents - it makes so much sense and it changes lives, both for beneficiaries and volunteers.

Hairdresser needed for housebound pensioner

Hi

Does anyone know a local hairdresser who would be able to visit a 95 year old woman at home (Bennerley Road) to wash and cut her hair every 6 weeks or so please?

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Found: girl's shoe on Wakehurst Road (Clapham Common end)

I found a toddler girl's start-rite shoe on my garden wall on Wakehurst Road and it'd be great to reunite it with its owner. Please PM me with a description of your shoe if you've lost one recently. Thanks!
