Anyone have a baby/child with a tracheostomy?

I have a 3 month old baby who is poorly and has been in hospital pretty much since birth. She has serious upper airway issues and her consultant is looking to perform a tracheostomy next week which he thinks will enable her to breath properly for the first time in her life. Am terrified and wondered...

Cotes is fab with delicious steaks and loads of other choices. Reasonably child friendly too
